Vita Supplements is an EU contract manufacturer in Ljubljana, Slovenia that fills private label liquid shots in-house, in a 25 ml PET shot or a 500 ml bottle with a 25 ml measuring cap, in four flavours, from a 500-unit MOQ. Two liquid collagen formulas are ready to brand today, at 10,000 mg and 5,000 mg of collagen peptides per dose, and custom formulas are developed to your brief. We fill water-based supplement liquids in two formats, both 100 percent recyclable PET, and we handle formulation, flavouring, filling, capping, labelling and packing in-house under one roof. Why choose liquid shots, and what are the trade-offs?
A shot carries a dose that would take several capsules, in a form people find easy to keep up as a daily ritual: nothing to swallow, no mixing, and a flavour that can be built for the buyer. The 10,000 mg of collagen in our beauty formula would need around 20 size 00 capsules, which is why collagen, and most gram-scale actives, are sold as liquids or powders. The trade-offs are real. Water is heavy, so shipping costs more per dose than a capsule. A liquid needs a preservative system or a protective process, and its shelf life is set by stability testing rather than assumed. Some actives are less stable in solution, and taste has to be managed with sweeteners and flavour. If the dose is small and the active is stable, a capsule is usually cheaper per unit; if the buyer values the daily-drink ritual or the dose is large, a shot earns its place.
What are the MOQ and lead time for liquid shots?
Liquid shots start at 500 units per product, whether you brand a stock formula or develop your own. That is higher than our 300-unit white label minimum on capsules, because a liquid batch is mixed, filled and stability-tested as one run. Pricing improves at higher volumes, and reorders of a held formula are consistent batch to batch.

Ready-made liquid shot formulas
Two liquid collagen formulas are held in stock and can carry your label from 500 units, in either format and any of the four flavours. The doses below are per 25 ml daily dose. Where a nutrient has an EU nutrient reference value, the percentage is shown; collagen, hyaluronic acid, MSM, glucosamine, chondroitin and L-carnitine have none, and carry no authorised health claim. Biotin at 5 mg is well above its reference value, and the label states that plainly.

For a skin, hair and nails positioning. Authorised claims come from the vitamins and minerals: vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin; biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin; copper contributes to normal hair pigmentation.

Both are 100 percent recyclable. The 500 ml bottle can ship with an optional printed outer box.

Do liquid shots need preservatives, and what is the shelf life? +
A water-based liquid needs protecting, either with a preservative system or through the process itself. We choose the approach per formula, then stability-test it, and the shelf life on your label is set from those results rather than assumed. The figure is confirmed in your quote.
Can shots be sugar-free? +
The sweetener and flavour system is formulated per product, and sugar-reduced or sugar-free versions are developed on request. The four stock flavours are lemon, strawberry, orange and tropical fruit.
Are the shots made in-house? +
Yes. Liquid shots are filled in our own facility in Ljubljana, Slovenia, alongside the other three formats we make, with full batch documentation and a certificate of analysis for every batch.
Do you check the health claims on a shot label? +
Yes. Every claim on a label we produce is checked against the EU register of authorised health claims and phrased as authorised. Collagen, hyaluronic acid, MSM, glucosamine and chondroitin carry no authorised claim in the EU, so the wording on a collagen shot comes from the vitamins and minerals in the formula.
