Many EU countries require a notification before the first sale, in Germany with the BVL. The brand files it; we supply the specification and label data it needs.

What it costs to start
Your first budget covers the product run, label and packaging, and the time to market it. The unit price depends on ingredients, dose, format, quantity and packaging. Standard vitamins and minerals cost less than branded or patented ingredients, and powders cost less per serving than capsules or softgels. Fixed costs per batch stay the same, so a larger run lowers the unit price.

Do I need my own formula to start?+
No. White label lets you start with one of 300+ ready formulations under your brand from 300 units. You can move to a custom private label formula from 500 units once you know what sells.
How much stock should a startup order first?+
Enough to test demand and fill early orders, not enough to fill a warehouse. For most founders that means 300 to 500 units per product across two or three products.
Who is responsible for EU compliance?+
The brand that puts the product on the market is responsible. We build compliance into the formula and label data and supply the documents you need, including for notifications such as the German BVL notification.
Can you help with the label?+
Yes. We help founders without packaging with design and with the EU-compliant wording, so the first product does not look homemade.
How long until I can sell?+
White label ships 1 to 4 weeks after you approve the quote and label. Private label takes 4 to 8 weeks.
